Okay things that make this better than average.
7/11/7, beautiful profile for a mech.
The standard engine and solid armour for a 20 tonner.
The reason its not all that good. One weapon. Its all or nothing on a weapon most slower (6/9/6) scouts have two or three of to match you.
The odds rarely will be in your favour in that case. Still worth a look in your scout forces. |

A nice scout mech. The lack of fluff is a worry; how did it get here and why was this upgrade necessary?
Maneuverability is absolutely fantastic. Even if it is countered, contrary to what others have said, the jump jets allow the mech to bounce behind slower mechs and begin hammering away.
If you dropped the DHS, for cost reasons, and an MP of walking speed, you could add an ER Small laser and lower the cost at the same time, thus making the mech that much better.

Good design. The speed upgrade is nice, and it runs nice and cool. You don't even need the DHS really. The armor is good too. This one will be hard to kill. |

Not really much different from the original Stinger. Only slightly increased manouverability to drastically reduced firepower. The single med laser isn't enough to keep much at bay if its cornered and the manouverability doesn't protect it from lucky shots. |
