If I compare this to 1A Wasp than the obvious results are:
No need to refill the ammo bins (a positive thing, but with the amount of ammo carried on 1A this will rarely be significant).
More firepower (another good thing, but you must watch your heat and you must be close to use it, which is NOT a good idea with this armor).
Possible vee and infantry destruction thanks to the flamer (the same drawback)
So the mechs are generally equal... |

I would agree with the ratings for the Wasp...all of the variants. This one is the strongest, then the 1A, the 1W, then 1K (weak), and finally the 1L. Go figure a Liao design that blows! Big surprise. Fed Com should have resumed invasion of Cappie space in3039 instead of lashing out at the DC...ok that is supposed to be a thread of its own... back to the business at hand...
Good strong mech in this configuration. Comparable to the stinger...
...This is still my least favorite of the classic 3 20 tons scouts.
Would I use it?...
Yeah, if I had to, I would. It wouldn't be my first CHOICE, if given one... |

A nice little mech to combat vehicles, infantry and other mechs of it´s weight. It´s mainweapon and the two small lasers give it a decent punch and the flamer is a good utility tool (burn infantry, woods, buildings to damage, flush out or hide!)
Only serious drawback here too is the placement of the flamer (see -1A). |

the flammer is the best thing to happen to this. it can play pryo around the battlefeild and cook some things while usualy keeping out of the line of fire. |
