A little strange refit. Good firepower and electronics suite, but I must agree that it resembles Thug, or Hatamoto-Chi much more than Zeus. XL engine makes it more vulnerable, but heavy armor partially offsets that. The difference between ZEU-12S and 12X is also small, so this review can be applied to both mechs. Not bad, but ... |

Reminds me more of a Thug than anything else though. The Guardian ECM with the C3 slave is a very nice touch on this design but i have to question the TSM.
Even with a fullpoint blank alpha and running, the mech generates only 42 points of heat while u dissipate 36 which means u will have a hard time trying to get and maintain the magic 9 heatpoints.
Loosing the TSM can save the mech a couple of million c-bills too ! |

Paired ER PPCs and Streak SRM-6s? I'd say this is more of a Thug refit than a Zeus refit. The thick armor and XL engine counterbalance one another though, so it has fair survivability.
The ECM pod is vital on a C3 slave unit for it's ECCM capabilities. It's far too easy for the enemy to have a light jumper ECM unit saddle up next to you otherwise, and cut off your C3 linkage. You're still not invulnerable from interference, but at least you have some defense. |

Excellent design!
The firepower is tremendous especially when you consider that it can maintain sustained fire for extended periods. Mounting an effective electronics package this could be the advanced unit of an assault group. The armor is thick enough to absorb some harsh enemy fire while remaining battle effective. |
