Timber Wolf chassis isn't well suited for ballistics-heavy configurations, because it devotes large amount of internal space to structure and carries a lot of heat sinks that are useless on configuration like this. TC is nice addition to ACs, but cluster rounds cannot benefit from it and the weapons provide only light firepower. I don't like this configuration. |

For a Timberwolf to have this much excess heat capacity is a crime. Although this podding will give you endurance to fight for a long time, the heat sinks are overly redundant.
The lack of in close weaponry hurts it as well. Still it might work as a scout hunter or something if you were willing to trade a mainline OMNI to that kind of duty. |

This 'mech is seriously under-armed for a Timber Wolf. Those LBX-5s are little more than BB guns against any kind of serious opposition. You're also carrying too much AC ammunition. |

Star Commander Tetran was one of my main NPCs in a campaign I ran. He was a deadly foe, and after the campaign combats he went on to win a bloodname and the rank of Star Colonel. This is his personal Timberwolf configuration, and he used it to defeat a good many Inner Sphere barbarians :) |
