Overview:
    Created by the think tank at D&K Creation Studios, the Pale Fire was created to be a leader
    of lances of their initial production runs of both Jackrabbits and Cypresses while bringing
    something new to the company roster.
    
    The think tank at D&K Creation Studios set an outline of the proposed capabilities for their
    next product with the requirements that it be fast enough to keep up with their previous
    products while not over taking them in speed, leading to an engine too big to leave room for
    weaponry or armor, as seen in the oft maligned Cicada or Assassin.
    
    Furthermore, it needed both a combination of weapon systems to make it stand out in
    comparison to its contemporaries of the weight class as well as in house products.

Capabilities:
    To achieve these results, the following was decided upon:
    
    First, endo-steel and a light fusion engine would free enough weight for the unit while not
    reducing the survivability for the 270 rated Light Fusion Engine to allow it to have a
    reasonable amount of speed. Furthermore, nine tons of armor was decided upon as an
    acceptable amount of protection to fit in slightly more equipment such as the extra double
    heat sink to allow the Pale Fire to run reasonably cool in the hands of pilots.
    
    Secondly, the main armaments decided upon for the machine were a duo of MML-5s, one in each
    arm. They are both fed by the singular ton of either SRM ammunition in the Right Torso, or
    the singular ton of LRM ammunition in the Left Torso, as this was deemed enough ammunition
    for the unit. Both side torsos have C.A.S.E installed to allow for better pilot
    survivability.
    
    These launchers are supplemented by a pair of Extended Range Medium Lasers, one to a
    launcher, in the case that the unit should ever run dry or should a target need extra
    firepower to crack.
    
    The Pale Fire is equipped with six standard jump jets to help is maneuverability in combat
    as well as a Center Torso mounter Laser AMS to improve unit survivability.
