All those pulse lasers will probably mean death for anything unlucky enough to find itself in range, but I would replace the XL with light engine (there is enough space for ES structure that would allow this change, so if you want to make 3067 variant ... ; ) ). BLR was always prized for it's durability and the XL engine may lower it. Otherwise I don't see any serious problems with the 'Mech (well, two ER PPCs are a problem when you stand in wrong place, in wrong time, in ... errm end). |

Umm... Two ER PPCs, a batch of lasers, and some SRMs..... Are we all looking at a BLR or is this a Warhammer?
Sorry to be mean, but this jsut seems to be a Warhammer thats gained 10 tons of stuff.
Still, its going to inflict some damage with the twin PPCs, and thankfully, this is one model with enough heat sinks to use them. Barely. Using the weapons at their intented ranges will keep the heat down. Alpha Strike at your own risk, though. |

I've never really cared for the BattleMaster, as I've yet to see one "Master" any battles. Still this is a good design upgrade with a hard punch and nice fluff. |

A good upgrade for the Battlemaster. I even like the 2 med pulse in the rear. Most players malign mechs that keep lasers in the rear, but I have killed many a light by those lowly med lasers facing backwards. On this design, having 2 facing back does not diminish the firepower that it brings to bear on the chosen opponent to the front. Overall, a mean upgrade for sure. |
