Overview:
The Daishi Dragon Slayer (Dire Wolf) was used by the clans against the draconis combine for
the most part, hence the name. It was used by both clan Ghost Bear and Clan Smoke Jaguar.
However it also saw use by the Wolf Clan in it's invasion corridor. The general weapons load
comes from the Mad Cat A, in the form of twin ERPPCs, triple Medium Pulse Lasers, and a
Streak SRM system. However the similarities end there as the dragon mounts several more
weapons and a targeting computer, and the SRM rack was downgraded in size to a 4 tube
version.
Capabilities:
A powerful hard hitting unit at any range, it combines ER PPCs, ER Large Lasers, and Large
Pulse Lasers with a Targeting Computer for devestating ranged firepower. Close in it uses
two Streak SRM-4 missile racks and 3 Medium Pulse Lasers with some of the heavier weapons to
litteraly shred an opponents armor.
Deployment:
Deployed with the 6th Jaguar Regulars, Beta Galaxy Command (The Jaguars Den), and the 362nd
Assault Cluster of the Smoke Jaguars. With the 12th Bear Chevaliers and 304th Assault
Cluster of the Ghost Bears. With the Wolf Clan the sole unit to emply the Dragon Slayer is
the 1st Wolf Assault Cluster. As far as can be determined no other clan has the use of this
configuration at this time, however we may not know if a Clan still on the homeworlds has
it.

Dangerous thing, I'm not sure if anyone wants to run through the PPC/laser barrage that the pilot is raining on him to reach the SRM range. Mines, bombs, artillery and orbital bombardment are probably the best way to deal with mechs like this one without loosing some mechs of yours. Its munchy, but what should I expect from Dire Wolf.

Eh, average. Sure its deadly, sure its powerful, awesome and death inspiring.
Show me something new. I'm not impressed by what amounts to a minimally new design. Especially when it has so few of its weapons in the arms which is odd for a Daishi.
Also crossing your missile weapons from LT to RT just to get ammo for them is kinda difficult to deal with. Maybe the launchers/ammo could be in same side.

Good punch and the TC helps maintain accuracy on the move, but it overheats immensly, by taking away a few med pulses you can add a few heat sinks, allowing more of its arsenal to be used at one time.
I don't agree with marking a mech down because its good! And the only fault here is the XL, which is a tradeoff for the heavy firepower.

If you really want to kill everything and make sure they are dead, this mech is a good choice. It has enough power you could out bid a 3 mech force with just this one. With the slow speed be very careful of traditional Draconis swarm tactics.
