Overview:
In case you havent figured it out yet, this is my version of a GaussZilla.
Capabilities:
Carrying 5 long range high damage weapons the Dagon is a cold hearted killer. With enough
Gauss ammo to fire 12 rounds from each gun, and an ER PPC to back them up, the firepower is
phenomenal.
Deployment:
Custom build for a mercenary unit, all but one of the seven built are currently deplyed with
that unit. The seventh was lost in fighting within the FedCom civil war, salvaged and
returned to fighting trim by the Pro Stiener unit that the mercs had been fighting. All
DAG-01's have been upgraded to carry a C3 Slave in place of a ton of armor or a ton of gauss
ammo, depending on pilot preference.

Gauss rifles, ER PPC, full armor... almost munchy mech. For the amount of damage the heat produced is almost laughable. GRs have only twelve shots, but if something survives them than you have bad gunner. Dangerous, but I'm not sure if mercs can afford to build this.

Basically another Trial in the Sands mech which basically only aims for able to kill its opponents outright and forget everything else.

To start, this 'mech is nasty. 75 points of damage is nothing to scoff at, and there's no structural flaws anywhere. Usually this is the sort of 'mech I'd subtract points from for munchiness, but I've always had a soft spot for Gausszilla.

For believe ability. At 23 million and change for this CLAN mech. That means not only does a merc unit have enough money (roughly 150 million) c-bills to buy this unit in theory. It also has to negoiate with someone to repair clan tech, and field something else to round out this incredibly expensive company they've designed.

Ouch! Gausszilla, IMHO this thing would make an excellent sniper, but its strengths are also its weaknesses, it could get swarmed by light mechs. An LB10-X AC or a few pulse lasers even up the modifiers against them. Other than that little nitpick the mech really packs some punch. Wouldn't mind one in the campaign im running.
