ATM configuration doesn't look bad at first, but there are some strange things around this one. Additional heat sink is useless, because basic heat sinks can handle the heat with 6 point reserve. ATM 3s have too much ammo. sixty rounds seem to make up for the lack of energy backup, but they actually just make the arms more explosive. I think that three tons are enough for two or three launchers. Additional ammo for bigger ATMs may be useful, but this mech needs some backup weapons first and the ammo later. |

Okay, ATMs are like spice. They're good in a certain quantity. YOu need an energy weapon if only because at some point your armour gets thin and you HAVE to dump ammo so that you can continue fighting.
With all ammo based missile racks your kind of locked in. You need an energy weapon or four to make up for this dependency.
As it is, its an unabashed ammo addict with no use for raiding of long term battles against IS units. |

This is taking the ATM concept to the extreme. I would say the Vulture is the perfect Mech to try this experiment on. However, as a Mechwarrior I would like to have at least some Energy weapons. Perhaps drop the ATM 3s and add an ER PPC and a pair of ER MLs. |

This ought to be fun 'mech to experiment with. Personally though, I think it depends on the ATMs a little too much. Personally, I would replace the ATM 3s with ER Large Lasers to reduce the ammunition dependency. |
