Lets pretend the 02 model never was created. Its brutally more expensive for 3 OS SRM 4s. and an extra stock pile of ammo.
I question how you can add that much more tonnage and still fail to have any kind of in close weaponry.
Just go with the standard one, rip out 3 tons of armour and the Tag and put in medium lasers. better yet make it so the arms can flip on said lasers so you can prevent the ignomous defeat of being light meched. |

We both know that this is no upgrade, right?
XL is such a bad idea! The already expensive artillery 'mech that increases greatly in price.... And then the larger size of the XL forces you to go for OS SSRMs?!? And the TAG-Arrow combo still won't work....
Nononono, if you want this 'mech to defend itself, get rid of some of the armour of the standard variant and add some ML. But really, apart from the TAG thing, the standard variant is the way to go! |

With the SRMs this will do a much better job. Even though they are one shot, they should provide at least some cover just in case it gets overrun. The hefty armor should protect it the rest of the way until lancemates come to the rescue. |
