The weaponload of this variant is very different from the original.
Its weapons have a hard punch up close but at longer ranges it lacks firepower. Heat isn't much of a problem here. It can alphastrike at full speed without even getting any negative effects.
Though its speed is a boon to a machine with that limited range the XL can pose a big problem in a close range fight. The armor isn't bad but it will go down faster than a Mech with a standard engine. |

The RAC will cause a lot of pain until it runs out of ammunition, but this 'mech seriously suffers from it's lack of ranged power. |

This one's pretty good, better than the original, I think. The RAC and pulse lasers will do quite a bit of damage at close range, and there's plenty of ammo for the RAC. The heat sinks will let you run and shoot, but you'll have some problems at higher rates of fire with the RAC. Also, I'd drop a pulse laser or downgrade two to standard meds to add some more armor. |

Pretty good, but can crank out more heat than a blast furnace. If everything in the alpha strike hits, though, youre going to carve someone a new ammo dump. Im not sure that the DHS can keep up with them, though. Despite the RAC, this mech could do pretty well as a guerilla fighter. As is, its going to start hurting once the ammo gives out. |
