Still a fast laser boat but the main weapons are too hot now to fire them repeatingly together. The change of the AMS to a C3i was a good idea and the shortrange firepower was upgraded too.
All in all its good but i don't like it. |

I'd actually say its more dependant upon the unit now. THe XL takes away from its independence of ammoless raiding.
Not a machine you want a rookie in, as you need to plan ahead just which weapons your going to fire.
Comstar can afford it though, but they C3i dependance will bite them in the butt against ECM users as they're machines turn into under gunned models in almost every case. This one just turns into an XL engine vulnerability which won't matter to it in an even fight. |

While DarkAdder's idea of adding more heat sinks is sound.. It just doesn't have the space for it...
As it is its fast, decently armed and armoured and has no need for a supply base (a repair base on the other hand..) |

Another rarity on the COmstar ranks. A mech that isnt totally dependant on the C3i link for help. This mech works well away from ammo lines, but can generat heat like nobodys business. Personally, Id drop one of the lasers for a few more DHS, then this thing might be able to survive its first alpha strike. As is, its got lots of nifty weapons, but cant quite use em all at once. |
