For a mech designed to scout and then run away, it is more than adequate. However, the backup weapons are less than ideal, you do not want a lucky critical blowing your streak ammo. Stick to ER mediums and maybe more armor. |

This mech is good only for scouting and nothing else (Not saying, that it doesn't excel on chosen field). Streak infernos are not allowed, so it wold be good idea to install standard SRM launchers and maybe TAG. Weapons are too light and with all those DHSs you should mount some energy weapons. There are many better mechs for this cost, but there are worse too. |

This will serve it's intended purpose adequately, although another ton of armor would probably protect it more effectively than the MASC. |

A nice recon 'Mech. It can't do anything else, but it's not meant to. Quite fast, especially with the MASC, and good electronics. Streaks are a good choice as weapons; if the SRMs aren't Streaks, they're not worth putting on a 'Mech. The only disagreements I can make with this one are personal preference; I hate MASC, and I prefer ER lasers on recon 'Mechs if at all possible. If a 'Mech not meant to fight is forced to, it ought not to be forced into close range by its own weapons. |

For what this mech is designed for, it rocks. There are not many designs out there that can out run this. With the elctronics package it can easily sneak in and out of enemy territory. The only time I can see this really needing to fire those srms is if it is found by another fast light. Then it may have to fire off a few salvos in order to make an escape. I also like the note in the fluff about using it with infernos to set woods on fire. A nice scorched earth policy can be useful. Especially on worlds that you are raiding that you do not actually own. |
