In some things better than the -01 from 2750 like the armor, range and the ability to use a C3i-network with its long-range weapons.
But the real big problem with this is its heat buildup. While the original can fire its three big weapons with almost no heat the -04 can only use two weapons at once without seriously overheating. |

Dropping one large for 1 more heatsink and a few close in pulse lasers will make this much better for chasing down light mechs and stepping on their face. |

Either this mech is way over heating for an alpha mech or has an ER Large that desperately needs to be swapped out for more in close lasers.
It has a lot of firepower but needs to swap out something for more in close weapons. Comstar could care less about the cost/vulnerability. Since they field XLs in spades. The armour is awesome in a lot of ways.
Its a scout mech hunter in my mind. The weapons load out make it lethal to scouts.

Whoa! Somebody check the heat curve; I don't mind a hot 'mech, but this is just too much. An alpha strike puts you 11 points over if you're standing still. |

Reach out and beat someone senseless, with this mech. The C3i link really lets this mech hit just about anything its mates can see. Keep a close eye on your heat, though, as the all-laser config will mean alot of heat. |
