Quite possibly the most dangerous design out there. It claims hundreds of lives as the foes simply laugh themselves to death. Those who do not die immediately may still perish of the guffahs as they snipe this turkey. The Periphery should be ashamed of itsself. |

Ripping its only long-range weapon out and giving it the RL's with the shortest range instead is something i just can't understand.
If it really has to be RL's better take 18 RL-10.
As it is, this mech can deliver respectable short range firepower but due to the few RL's and small AC-ammo bin it will sit in the middle of the battle soon with two medium lasers left ! I don't like the Cyclops much but this is even worse! |

The revenge of the Rocket Launchers continues!
Simply worthless.. sticking to the original Cyclops would have been a better idea.
The only benefit of this is the thicker armour and better heat venting.. otherwise...
|

bad idea on all that RLs, if i needed to use RLs so desperately, i might as well field a Locust and stuff it full of them and let it cut lose. Sure its gonna die anyway but at least the Locust isnt as expensive as 90 ton assault mech.
heck this Cyclops would even be cheaper with an LRM15 + some ammo and a case ! |

i only like RL's on VTOL for a Vietnam stile war. other than that RL suck.and to give an assault Mech that many RLs must mean you have no credits to buy some thing better. or you were droped on your head to many times as a baby. |
