This could have been a very nice mech.
The light engine makes it less vulnerable then its companions and it has a strong and useful weapon load-out.
But it has to alternate the fire of its main weapons just to get some small gimmicks.
I can understand the sense of mounting a flamer (anti infantry) or a BAP (saves from traps) but if this means to hamper the main weapons this could not be accepted! Two heat sinks and some ammo (as mentioned before) would be much more useful (and would fit in to the last crit by the way). |

I say cull the Probe and the flamer for 2 more DHS and another half ton of armor.
That will make it heaps more useful. It just a few points away from being excellent, just these annoying flaws keep it from going on top. |

Of the new MAD's this one has about the least armor, worst heat dissapation, and a probe as well as a flamer. Why the probe OR flamer? Both are really not wanted on this mech. Compared to the other MAD's in from this time period this is possibly the worst. It can't even fire its two main weapons without an over heat. Not a good thing. Lose some of those oddities and throw in some DHS or something |

Is this thing supposed to be a scout or an assault mech? The weapons load is pretty damn impressive, except for the flamer and active probe. I can understand the flamer, should the mech run into infantry its going to need a close in weapon. But the probe is a puzzle. One would think that scout units would have already found enemy units, either by using their own probes or by getting shot at. |
