Not that bad. There isn't much ammo, someone probably calculated for how long it can last, but he probably underestimated those two additional tons of armor. I think that the 'Mech would easily use another ton or two without endangering itself too much. The ACs can last for a long time, so the JM6-A can at least anoy the enemy once the LRMs are gone, but that would be all (lasers are just average for backup, but if something gets near than you'll be glad that you have them). Armor is acceptable since this is no front line machine. Keep it out of combat and let it work, otherwise you are in trouble. |

A Jagermech variant with more firepower but much less ammo.
The increased armor will buy you some turns to get rid of your ammo. |

This variant isnt so bad it looks if used correctly.
1. Its rear armor is still awful, in fact even a medium laser will crit the sides.
2. Since the LRMs are at the sides, you will want to empty the ammo bins quickly.
3. With only 8 reloads per LRM , you will get rid of them quickly and get the hell out.
As for field mods uhh... i will drop 1 ton of AC2 (they are near useless anyway) ammo and wear 1 more ton of plating. Specially for the Rear armor.

An ok missile support mech while it lasts. I would use it close to supply lines or as a garrison mech where larger or more dangerous support mechs are needed to strengthen your front lines. AC2's provide good crit ability and remember they can take a VTOL rotor out at very long range if your lucky. As soon as your LRM's are gone, back off. It has very poor armour to be an infighter. |

I like this even less than the S version in 3025.
This mech is a nice missile support with the AC 2s in support as well. But as a support mech its kinda stretched thin. Low armour, no LRM reloads, and then a pair of AC 2s to stick around for the rest of the battle.
Its almost like a triple classed character in DnD. It just looks pretty on paper, till you realise how much you gave up for it.
Buy yourself a Rifleman and an Archer and they'll destroy 2 of these cludges. |
