This mech can be very dangerous. 80 missiles per turn for two turns can play havoc with many foes. The only problem is to close to your opponent (as the RL's should be fired at short range to prevent too many wasted shots).
Four mediums are enough to deal with the now heavily damaged opponents but are not enough to deal with fresh foes.
So choose a target, get close to it, wear it down with RL's, lasers and kicks and then retreat fighting.
Don't underestimate it though: it isn't a really good mech nur its far from being that bad.
I would even give it a better rating if it didn't mount RL-20's.
Take 24 RL-10. Or even 25 by dropping a single point of armor.

I give this a better rating than the other critics because:
+ The RL's are extremely cheap
+ Its a real pheriphary mech and a good ambusher, it can bear down on other mechs, but is perhaps most useful for vehicles.
+The mech itself is extremely cheap, two of these could be bought for the price of one 5W
-Its laughable as a frontline unit.
-its os launchers are not much use against larger mechs. |

why would you put os rocket launchers on an archer? they just make it into something you can use for target practice. granted the damage potential is good but that's only one time. after that you only have mls to defend yourself with. this just turns the archer into a wimpy mech! |

definately a periphery stopgap type of jury rig. they would be far better with lasers of some sort than rockets, at least you might be able to fight long enough to have a real effect. |
