A really good Thunderbolt variant that keeps the original flavor. Its PPC and the mediums will benefit from the TC and the LRM is a nice backup weapon at longer ranges. You'll have to be a bit cautious with your high heat weapons but with a bit of fire discipline that can be managed well. ECM and jump jets are nice improvements too. The only thing i don't like here is the rather unreliable MASC and the absence of a CASE! |

Sure it lacks weapons, but all that electronic gadgets will assure the pilot that he comes out on top, especially the TC. |

The original T-Bolt was a great mech, and this is a worthy successor. It can effectively fight at long or short range. It lacks CASE, but you'll probably use up the ammo pretty quickly. This version also has excelent armor protection and no XL, increasing its survivability. The targeting computer helps make your shots count and the heat sinks should be able to keep you cool if you don't alpha strike. The MASC and ECM let you get close to an enemy quickly and open up. This is a good upgrade to the old T-Bolt and a great heavy. |

Nice to see this mech get a tune up. The original SE could catch an opponent off guard with its jump capability, and this one can do it again with the TC working the weapons. The LRMs and ER PPC can let the mech snipe with some good accuracy, while the ER mediums will keep most lighter mechs at arms reach. The ECM keeps the mech somewhat shielded from smart weapons, and the Masc is good for either getting in close right away, or bugging out should all else fail. The armor is very nice, able to withstand a solid hit without being breeched. The DHS might get a little overworked by the weapons, but should handle things alright. A nice mech, that can do just about anything in any role. |
