Putting heavy lasers on a slow second line design is just a bad idea...front line warriors have a hard enough time hitting with them at short range. |

I love the weaponry. Also, a Rifleman with real armor is good to see. The only oddball is the Active Probe. This 'mech practically crawls next to real scout 'mechs. I'd rather see an ECM, then I'd give it a better rating. |

A nice variant of the Rifleman with two drawbacks, the speed is appaling, and the armour is TOO good. Both of these stats take away what was the original outline of the Rifleman. A close line support mech. A sniper or AA battery should have much more speed in order to avoid strafing fire from Aerospacers or to move quickly between firing cover. Its to slow to provide direct support to anything other than Assaults. |

A god platform for the havy lasers. The UACs bck them up nicely, but make the mech into a bit of an addict. A nice mech to send in with scouting starts, the active probe will find nearly anything thats hidden. If the target is easy handled, the mech can move in with the heavy lasers. Should the mech be too big, then the mech can lay covering fire and move to a safer location. |
