General Details
Name:  Light Fluid Suction System
Type (Category):  Equipment (Other)
Reference:  TechManual (p. 249)

Description:
As with the refueling drogue, a reversed version of the standard lightweight sprayer is the aptly named light fluid suction system (LFSS). Used generally by smaller firefighting vehicles and battlefield tenders (though a slightly larger, ‘Mech-based version also exists for RescueMechs), the LFSS can draw fuels, coolant or other liquid cargo into on-board storage tanks at a rate of about 10 kilograms per second.

Game Rules:
Fluid suction systems have no effect in Total Warfare standard rules play. Their use will be covered more fully in future products. The light fluid suction system will not function if the unit’s engine is shut down or its pilot/crew is incapable of acting.
