This one's not exactly ground-breaking; simply the product of a few minutes worth of "Hmmm. . . Archer IIC. . ." Hence the lack of fluff. I know that the IIC's are mostly heavier than their predecessors, but the extra tonnage didn't really gain me anything; just more armor and a larger price tag.

But, with just a few more tons, you could pack on a JILLION more CLRMS! And Pulse Lasers! LOADS of Pulse Lasers!
All Clantech is only about a half-ton, right?

I also went for the horror of 4 LRM-20 racks with 6 tons of ammo. 4 ER Medium Lasers and 14 DHS, FF armor and ES internals.

Actually many IICs are lighter than originals, but this isn't bad
