Overview:
The -22 variant of the ASN-21 Assassin is an upgraded Variant of the original model,
utilizing some of the -21bp's advanced systems, although lacking the FFA, Endo-Steel, and
the 320XL, replacing it with a downgraded VOX 280XL.
Through the use of more standard parts and a smaller engine, coupled with a more
endurance-based mindset, the -22 is a medium laser monster, replacing all of its weapons
with 7 medium lasers, with 2 mounted on each side of the torso, 2 in the right arm and 1 on
the left, a TAG was also added to the head of the mech alowing it to spot targets for
artilery. This armament is only possible through the inclusion of 12 DHSs to keep it cool
while on the move.
This rare variant was mostly lost during the collapse of the Star League, due to the small
number produced, coupled with the lone wolf tactics used by those utilising this mech. For
the lucky few who have this mech, they use it sparingly to ensure its continued survival.
