As a serious upgrade it is not bad at all. Though I would skip the MP-Laser and the Narc. Instead something like a flamer (as cover and anti-Infantry device), a tag and a targeting computer could be useful. The last point would be a bap and a slave - so you get a powerful scout unit.

It’s not bad, per se, but to me, it’s not really a Spider as you have it laid out.
For my two cents, the Spider is known for its speed and jump capability. Taking away the latter is taking away a large portion of its identity in my eyes.
At that point, you almost might as well name it something different and maybe say its based on the Spider’s frame.
Or is this to a be one-off, and someone’s personal ride?
Either that, or lean into the speed aspect, but as a 30 tonner with extreme speed, you already have some other existing designs for this, including the Hussar and the Hermes for examples.
