Overview:
    The Pandarus design would be revisited by Kali-Yami in the IllClan era. Originally conceived
    of as an omni-design, in the face of material and financial deficiencies the mech had been
    converted over into conventional battlemech that featured ELRMs as its primary armament. It
    performance would be lack luster at best and its appearance on the battlefield would be
    rare. The IlClan era would offer new opportunities for the mech and the company. The
    increased availability of advanced and clan-grade materials coupled with the strong desire
    for a capable military within the reformed Free Worlds League would lead Kali Yama to
    reassess the Pandarus. The company would find a cautious support for fulfilling the original
    desired design purpose of the Pandarus, and the decision to greenlight the project was made
    all the easier by the fact that mech of the omni design specifications has already been
    completed greatly reducing the time needed to bring the mech to full production. Within the
    span of a few sort years the new Pandarus LFA-2-O would begin rolling out of the factory on
    Kendall.

Capabilities:
    The Prime Configuration would feature the addition of a 13th heat sink (26 sinking). It
    would come armed with a snub-nosed PPC in the right arm, three MML-9's that would be split
    between the left arm and side torso's supported by 6 tons of CASE II protected ammo, and an
    er-small laser mounted into the head. For additional protection an angel ecm would find its
    way into the right torso.
