Variants:
The Banshee-2E was a limited run prototype run made by modifying the original 1E models with
standard equipment. In addition to the PPC, AC/5 and trio of lasers found on that original
model, another trio of lasers were added, a pair of additional medium lasers in the center
torso area, and a heavy laser below the particle cannon. Paired missile launchers were
mounted in each side torso, a five pack of long-range missiles and a four pack of
short-range missiles in each side. The LRM?s are each fed by a single ton of ammunition
each; while the short-range launchers share a ton of ammunition. Finally, additional armor
was added in each limb and on the front center torso.
