I prefer a half ton of ammo and 3 machine guns to 2 Small Pulses.
However if the choice is 1 SPL or 1 half ton and 1 machine gun then I'll go with the SPL.
So it really depends on the weight I was going to spend.
I have a modification of the Dervish I used to love that I either had 2 extra heat sinks or 3 Machine guns and a half ton of ammo. I could never figure out which way using those 4 empty crits was best. I had lots of ammo on board already so I figured Anti infantry made more sense.
