								| I see this one getting used as city defender vs close in fighter to some what. It has the LRM 5 for those units that just want hang back, more a baiting kind of thing, or lay a few minefields as needed. Or even work with other vehicles in use of the semi-guided LRMs etc...
The other weapons have the medium to short range punching that is normal of many fights in close to urban terrain.

								| Nice Crab-on-tracks This behind a building can give a huge first impact.
But what does FF and CASE on a 3025 design?

								| The date doesn't matter anymore, I didn't change it when I was working on the design, go off the level if you want, but then again since the current rules don't really have levels well just call it a SLDF design if you want. _________________

								| I'd prefer going for SPL or MG instead of ML in front arc to deal with infantry and drop the extra heat sink for armour or ammo. LL is a neat backup, but seven shots per gun isn't too much, especially if you try new ammo types. Still I'd take this over Demolisher II from TRO 3060 more often than not. _________________

								| Thanks for the ideas for variants, I will add them into the fluff! Ammo is limited which makes this have a major weakness. _________________

								| Note that even with another ton of ammo you'd have only four shots per gun if you go for AP ammo or precision ammo. There could also be another variant as I'm thinking about it - completely devoid of small arms, just the ACs and PPC
Oh, another thing - if you consider updates to 3060+ tech then twin light PPCs and more ammo could just be the thing, as it can employ new AC ammo and gets additional range. Another way to go for dark age could be fuel cell that weighs mere 23 tons and drop the energy weapon in favour of bigger missile launcher, ammo and armour. You could easily have MML-9 or LRM-15 just by replacing the LL and LRM-5 and you still have five tons to play with and one heat sink. SPL with one heat sink and some ammo could be the obvious way, but AMS and C3 could also be interesting investments. Thanks to relatively few items carried you could also consider heavy FF, to give it some more endurance AND support the flavour of IT MUST HAVE IT ALL that seems to be in fashion these days.

								| Nice ideas! I will play around with them and see how things turn out, I do like the take it forward to keep it going with newer stuff. _________________

								| Actually if this was done sensibly with all designs there could be less clutter of new junk and more continuity. Project Phoenix wasn't bad at all when it comes to evolution, even if some upgrades were questionalble. Plus it would look far more realistic if each house supported a few general types rather than a score of different and largely icompatible types. Quartermaster's job would be a nightmare in most militaries of the Inner Sphere. _________________
