If I get enough response to this and mordel agrees (including making me an ftp account again) I'll upload them. I myself still play them under a Windows 98SE machine I have just FOR playing old games on. But anyways, since these are abandonware now it is legal to post all 3 of them (I say 3 since Mordel has already done the work of posting Crecent Hawks Inception). I actually use VMWare to run my Windows 98, the machine really runs Linux. However, VMWare is purchaseware and Mordel would frown on me explaining how to get it illegally, so just make a dedicated old gaming box with that copy of DOS 6.xx, Windows 95, or Windows 98 (Best Choice, durr) that you have laying around. You can pick up old comps from state auctions and yard sales pretty cheap. My roomate and I just picked up 2 PII 450mhz, a PIII 600mhz, and a dual PIII 700mhz, and 2 i386's (Stripping the i386s for the large towers, the others are getting added to our cluster down in the basement) from our state auction last month for $47.00, all they are missing is HDs, which can be picked up off ebay pretty cheap. Ours are all going to run some flavor of Linux, but thats just cause I'm a Linux phreak .
Anyways, lemme know whats wanted and I'll help Mordel get it for you guys.

It'd work, a bit slow perhaps, but then again maybe not I use my P133 like I said, and for some of my old games I have to use the moslo, and some I don't. For those who don't know it, moslo.exe is a nifty little prog that forces another prog to only use partial CPU, in a percent based format. In theory you could run these games using moslo on a 3 Ghz, except Windows XP/2003 don't support 16bit.

Actually, I was thinking of Crescent Hawk's Inception when I said it would be perfect. I don't know what the graphics are like for Revenge.

Tonly one i was ever able to beat was Crescent Hawks Inception. In MechWarrior, I could never get enough good mechs fast enough to stand a chance at the end. If I got them it was well after the impossibly short dealine that you have.
Crescent Hawks Revenge, I could never sucessfully break Jerimiah Younglbood (that is his nmae right?) out of prison. THat was one tough mission.

Here's a strategy that worked for me everytime in MechWarrior: pilot a Locust. The enemies would target the larger mechs piloted by my hirelings and those MG's can tear up even a Battlemaster. Set your guys to attack the enemy and you zoom up and collide with the brute, firing for all your worth. Back up as you take a leg off from concentrated fire and zoom to the next one. Works everytime. I can even finish the game with me in a Locust and an elite pilot in a Battlemaster. In that game it's the only mech with the armor to last the round while I take down the 4 enemy mechs in the Locust. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?

I have the PowerHits BattleTech 3 games pack from Activision too
When I have time I will remove the SPAM ( Demo of Simon & MW2 ) and create a self booting CD-ROM with FreeDOS, containing these 3 games, small enough to fit on a 210MB POCKET CD-R with a diameter of 8cm.
MfG, MEX
PS: I also have the Amiga version of Crescent Hawks Interception

Hell, I GREW UP with those three games. Never made it past the prison break scenario in Revenge, though. My Crusaders kept wasting their LRMs on infantry. By the time we left, they were either dry or close to it. _________________ Evil is like a bowl of oranges. Only one, instead, is an orange of DOOM. Well, since this was DUG up...
A) Mordel still has a huge huge set of files from me that hes supposed to wade through some day
B) If you don't want them to waste their LRMs then de-equip them! I've never actually played CHR though, so not sure how different from CHI the game play is.
C) I've still got these floating around somewhere so if Mordel says he wants 'em, and gives me a place to upload them to, he's got em.
