Overview:
The Roaring Beast was manufactured just before the Clan Invasion on Tokasha for Clan Ghost
Bear, with production rights soon after being acquired by Clan Jade Falcon in a Trial of
Possession. Its true baptism by fire would be Operation REVIVAL itself, where it would earn
the codename "Tonfa" for its arm weapon mounts from the Free Rasalhague Republic's first
encounters with it.
Capabilities:
The Roaring Beast is intended as a maneuverable front-line unit, using its Jump Jets to
change distance as needed. From a distance twin ER PPCs can hammer the enemy, and up close
it brings to bear a swarm of SRMs; a Medium Pulse Laser on a directional mount provides
emergency defense. This gives it a great degree of versatility, making it a dangerous
opponent for any Spheroid. The only real issues are some exposed actuators (including the
directional mount for the pulse laser), and it being able to overheat even with various
measures taken to ensure it doesn't burst into flames.

Deployment:
Both the Federated Commonwealth and the Free Rasalhague Republic had to contend with the
Tonfa during the Clan Invasion, appearing in the Jade Falcon and Ghost Bear corridors
respectively. It would later become a mainstay of the Ghost Bear (later Rasalhague)
Dominion's touman.
