Capabilities:
    Ongoing conflict during the Jihad inflicted significant damage, and Capellan Confederation
    technicians took advantage of repair downtime to perform field refits on a number of RFL-5M
    serving in CCAF units. The Magna medium lasers were upgraded to Ceres Arms ER models, and
    the arm mounted large lasers and one double heat sink were removed and replaced with Ceres
    Arms Striker light PPCs, a Guardian ECM suite, and an additional ton of ammunition the
    autocannons. The remaining tonnage saved was used to replace the armor with eleven tons of
    Hellespont Lite Stealth armor, which combined with the ECM suite, notably enhanced
    survivability in an era of advanced electronics.

Variants:
    The RFL-6L served as the template for later modification of the RFL-7N series incorporating
    ECM and stealth capabilities to keep the Confederation shadow lances well supplied.
