Overview:
    The Imp 2M is a new striker variant commissioned by the Free Worlds League after they
    reclaimed Irian and thus got the production lines for the ultralight 'Mech. It was requested
    that it would have consistent damage at all standard range brackets, and to this end Irian
    BattleMechs Unlimited went for a single-weapon design based on the 2P that also increased
    its durability.

Capabilities:
    The 2M strips the Clantech entirely as well as the IS-grade weapons & Jump Jets in exchange
    for a single ER Large Laser on the right arm and an additional half ton of armor. This armor
    was made Light Ferro-Fibrous as well, if only to ensure that Irian could sell it at a higher
    price.
    
    With the ER Large Laser it fulfills its promise to be able to hit at any range bracket, but
    this meant low damage overall as compared to the 1P's ability to deal a surprising amount
    when right in the face of an enemy - not to mention overheating problems with sustained
    fire. The tradeoff was deemed acceptable.

Not my cup of tea. Too small combined with too slow combined with too hot. Also, no back armor.

ER large laser with only 10 single heat sinks is already overheating by 2 pts just firing the weapon. Factor in the fact the XXL engine generates even more heat just standing still, much less when moving. This means you start generating penalties very quickly.

This would not be something I would choose to pilot given almost any other option.

Probably should have stuck a Bad Reputation quirk on there, lol.

It's intentionally meant to be a shitbox, since the ER Large Laser doesn't leave much tonnage for more Heat Sinks without me getting rid of basically all the armor (and even then it leaves room for only a little). And I can't exactly upgrade to Doubles without running out of space.
