Hi guys!
Sorry I won't be seeing Chihawk, Mordel, CSS Herod, MOB, Cliff, and all of the rest of you CBTers this year! I hope someone takes lots of pics of the events.
I won't be attending this year because of the arrival of my 3rd son! This year with 3 boys under 5 just won't fly with the misses. Next year I plan to bring them all! At least now I can say that my Command Lance is complete. 
Hope everyone has a great time....and remember.....don't let Mordel win the Championship! 
PS. If anyone could pick me up a hard copy of the event listings I would gladly reimburse them for shipping.

For any NORMAL paintjob, it would be enough. Bu this is no ordinary paintjob. I am giving your Elementals a VERY SPECIAL paintjob, my friend. I have perfected the "50-under-zero" paintbrush, which is letting me give each Elemental a very realistic-looking case of acne, as well as the unibrow that only comes with 30 generations of vat-breeding.

Lots more details in the coming days...busy catching up on "real life" stuff right now. My camera broke, so no pics, unfortunately.
The dates for 2009 have been announced, Feb. 19-22, 2009
Jeff "Chandra" Lyczak won the tourney...he was the only favorite to win a battle in the whole tournament (and that was the 8v9 play in).
I have a con book for you.

What's 8v9 play? Whatever it is, I am glad I survived it!!!!
TotalCon was fun as always, but of course, we missed Horhiro and CSSHerod. The snowstorm killed the attendance a bit, but plenty of old salts were there.
Partial list of Con highlights:
* Film room occasionally running 1980s D&D cartoon
* Confirmation that Chihawk ***IS*** the Lord of the Dance (in case you had any doubts)
* Extremely drunk woman in Pike's Peak bar late Friday night (worth more than the price of admission on its own)
* Car Wars crowd sets new record for volume of "New Turn" cheer (121.3 decibels, breaks old record by over 15 decibels)
* MechTrap event won by Battletech non-regular (but TotalCon regular) Mike Paine
* Confirmation that Chihawk ***IS*** the Lord of the Dance (in case you had any doubts)
*At least two people did NOT say "what's 'MechTrap'?"
