Amok, amok, amok! Look! I'm running amok! Sorry. Had to do it!
As to going to games! I can't afford to go, even though we have the cheapest tix in the league, (or at least used to). I do enjoy watching the games with some friends (a nice case of Molson Canadian - product endorsement, sorry!)

Excuse me Oh Great Captain-General, but we are both in character....
Alexander as a hockey-loving Canadian (is that redundant? ) mechwarrior and I as a bartender making a customer happy so he'll keep drinking booze.
LOL!

BTech question time regarding to this thread! Are there in fact any Canadian Mechwarriors in the BTech universe? If so, where are they (the Coldest planet in the Inner Sphere perhaps?)

Hey us Pats fans have won before! I mean we're all Celts, B's and Sox fans too! We kicked can with the C's in the 80's and a few B's Championships in the 70's. As for the Bosox....well that was a looooonnnnng time ago.
I promised my wife that I'd take her to base camp at Everest if the Sox won the series. Knowing that if they did (like Chihawk said) Hell would be frozen over and thus base camp wouldn't be that bad!

This is a first by the Pats. Give thanks, it'll be another 80 years before happens again.

What, you didn't zip over to the casino when the patriots won the Game before the game and get your bet in? That has earned me money for the last 3 years!

No way dude! We're trading Bledsoe and Glenn to get some more blue collar punishing players. We'll be in the Big Game for the next five years....DYNASTY BABY!!

The only problem with that is when any team becomes successful, it loses that team mentality. Players might still talk it up, but inside they think they are the reason they got where they did and deserve more pay, or more playing time.
Mark my words, the Patriots will not play like a team next year as well as they did this year. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Lets hope the luck they used this year spreads out a little. The Steelers won't need luck, just a trachea tube, to keep from choking in the big game.

I have to disagree. Belechick went out of his way to get "team" players not individual star players. He'll only bring in more of those types and the guys that stay now know what it takes to get the ring, which is not individual stats.(goodbye Terry Glenn) I bet he'll get guys to take a PAY CUT, to come play for him in NE, much like guys did to stay on a winning San Fran team in the 80's.
If they don't do as well next season it'll be because of a much tougher schedule. I will take a bet on them making the playoffs...
