Yeah, I'm going to change the whole "save" behavior in a future update. At the beginning it was a one-time submit and that was it. I updated it a short time ago so you can edit designs, but never bothered to change the Submit to a Save; tweak the way Save behaves, etc. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Just a thought on these, would it be good to create them using the config, but append the model with '-3SWC' (for 3rd Succession War Campaign)? That would help search for them and save the search filter. For example, Stinger07's Thunderbolt would be named 'Thunderbolt TDR-5S-3SWC "Stinger"'.
Thoughts? _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Oh, please feel free to use Mordel.net for the designing of your customs. I'll still be using MekHQ for unit tracking, but I can import the changes you desire. Do note, it will take a good chunk of in game game time to refit units as per SO. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

Refitting should be fun. I know you mentioned "custom" equipment or slightly modified. Obviously my site doesn't allow for that, unless you use the same stats but tweak the rules slightly. Either way, as STinger07 noted, each unit can be exported in mtf format, which I assume MegHQ takes. Will be an easy way for you to get our refitted units into your tracker without you having to make the updates to them all yourself. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Oh, Just rereading this thread, I noticed something that I can advise on...
One thing I have found in MechHQ is that if you start mods just before you leave the planet and do them while in transit, your techs stay busy and there are no negative side effects, only time spent for the techs, while they mod the mechs in transit. This tends to be their best use of time, since there are normally penalties for doing repairs (in the DS) while in space, while there are no penalties for spending time while doing "refits".

No mods yet. Just load in your base design. We'll mod them throughout the campaign.
