I was looking for something that could be a interesting weapon for lighter mechs, giving them a better punch. I honestely am not sure what I think of this so far. I dont see it as being to powerful but, let me know what you think.
New Weapon stats.
Gau-88A Avenger: Based on a ancient aircraft heavy machine gun featured on the A-10,the Gau-8A, the New Avenger is very similar in design and function to the original. 7, 30mm Barrels, and new sabo style depleted uranium explosive rounds, give the new weapon a significant punch but does creat sever heat problems.
Game stats.
Heat: 6
Damage: 4
Tons: 1.5
Crits: 3
Ammo/ton:10
Range
Short: 6
Medium: 12
Long: 18
Weapon BV: 59
Works with a Targeting Comp.

Never been into creating custom weapons. I figured what the game offered out of the box was more than enough!

If i recall, you have liked a few of the weapons i put up in the past. the mini-missile launchers being one that comes to mind.
