Oh, and pay no attention to the little guy trying to charge Horhiro into the depth 1 water. |
How can he be charging me? Didn’t I have the better initiative roll for turn 6?
Just wondering...
From rules:
“Both 'Mechs try to claim the same hex in the same turn. The player with the better initiative roll gets to decide if they want to claim the hex, Charge/DFA the other player, or end his/her turn one hex short. “ _________________ "I have lived my life trying to be a virtuous man. Clearly I completely mucked up the movement for that turn!! I guess my giddiness at seeing you get charged into the water made me realize I did the initiative order backwards for tied hexes. You shall now die miserably!!
OK. With minor snafu's I call it the fog of war, but this is kind of major. So... let mesort this out with those involved in the mix-up (Horhiro, Ronin, Mekslayer, and Sir Henry). I'll re-post the movement and see if anyone's firing has changed as a result. I'm guessing most won't. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Repeat after me: When in doubt, Horhiro is probably right. Sometimes it takes awhile to realize that, but in the end it almost always works out that way. _________________ www.210sportsblog.com

Can you please explain that to my wife? No seriously, I’ll pay you handsomely!
Actually you’re being kind. I’m more like a broken clock, right only twice a day!
I was almost hoping I was wrong, because even though it would’ve sucked for me, it would’ve been hilarious! _________________ "I have lived my life trying to be a virtuous man. The Dragon admires tenacity, and the code of the samurai upholds it as well." -Minobu Tetsuhara

OK, I've fixed it! Effectively, Horhiro and Ronin just flipped spots. So the super-uber-cool charge into the water hex is no longer going to happen. So sad... I'll send another message to folks and re-confirm firing declarations in case anyone wants to change. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

As I was looking at dates, it's dawned on me that this last round has taken a full month. OUCH! I promise I'll do better...
Having said the above, firing results are now posted. The two folks I thought for sure would be DEAD are still kicking. And the winner of this turns "You-Can't-Stop-Fucking-Me-Over" award goes to Sir Henry. Sorry buddy!! _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Actually. Ronin is dead. I cored him. Center torso hit should be from rear. He’s dead Jim.
Sorry boss. _________________ "I have lived my life trying to be a virtuous man. The Dragon admires tenacity, and the code of the samurai upholds it as well." -Minobu Tetsuhara
