Please feel free to put any feedback that you have about the mission or any of the surrounding elements (strategic turns) here.
Even if it is those players not involved in this mission complaining that they were board.
My feedback:
1. I felt things ran much more smoothly with the proposed CO/LCO giving orders for absent or late players. How did the CO/LCO feel about the added burden?
2. The use of the conventional initiative plus blind turn orders worked very well with resolving movement. No aero was on-board so we dunno the effect on that factor.
3. Double-Blind was very effective for relaying hidden information. I was pleased with its result.
4. HTML on the message board is a danged pain.

Yes, the forum HTML stuff is a drag. Mostly because it was never intended to be used in this fashion. Ideally I can create an entirely new section of the site that is geared exactly for this and is more forgiving.
Overall though, I really liked how it went. It seemed to flow nice and smooth. I had no problem with movement, though I really wish you'd hit a little more often when I roll. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

I thought it played out very well. I do like the double blind movement, it allowed us to do a couple things that I don't think we would have gotten away with in a tabletop setting.
I had no real problems supplying orders as long as I knew folks were missing.
My only complaint is you roll like Scott! _________________ "My Blood is not mine to give, it belongs to my Brothers"

In my defense, I don't roll anything. Megamek rolls like Scott. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

Yeah wondering if we should move as a company to keep everyone involved. I had a hell of a time in the rail yard, but the other two companies were pretty much left out.
If we move as a company, we could do something like:
Move from airport to railyard.
Scout lance - Scouts ahead, does not engage, retreats back to main force on contact. Supports main group as fast as possible if main group is attacked.
Middle lance - slightly ahead of big thump, readied defense in case of attack. If scouts engage, entrench and wait for targets. If Big Thump engages, turn and support as fast as possible.
Big Thump - trails in the back. Moves fast to support if either other lance is attacked. It Big Thump is attacked, respond and delay until help arrives.
That way we could all move, and once we get to battle everyone is involved. _________________ "My Blood is not mine to give, it belongs to my Brothers"

You also sent out the scouts while repairing the rest of the unit.
I understand the feeling of being left out. But I personally don't mind the separated forces. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

There is a distinct possibility that you may very well be. I had an issue with an absent player the entire scout mission. May be looking at a change of players. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.
