Agreed - this is inferior to original. It sacrifices stamina for close range power which is not a trade I'd like o make. The armour is quite thick, but not THAT thick. Actually I consider this to be Berserker's smaller brother. At least the added tonnage is not wasted on nonsense lieke with certain other 3050 botches. |

Its not bad but i don´t like it!
It seems somebody tried an übermunch Black Knight!
I would have understand an upgrade of the large lasers but to keep them and add another large (pulse) laser?
I´ve never seen this mech as a brawler so that hatchet looks strange on it. Drop it together with that large pulse laser, get a standard engine and you´ll have another 2.5 tons to play around with (maybe a DHS or two?). |

While inferior to the BL-6, this is still a powerfull machine. Drop the LPL, add jump, and voila instant city fighter. Anyways, I don't use it outside MW4, and then only if I get it as salvage :P |

Dropping the hatchet gives you another 5 tons. With 1 more DHS, you can use dual ERPPCs over a large pulse.
If you further shrink the number of pulses to some regular med lasers (a whopping 8 tons there), you won't even need the XL engine.
This can be done alot better. |

For an Inner Sphere heavy its okay. Until you realise it has a hatchet and every enemy mech will execute you at range for possesing one.
Which is what would normally net it a below average rating. But the IS heavy class is a thin pool of good machines and even wtih its cost it can manage to hang with the big boys. |
