I just don't like this Chassis. I never have and I never will. Too little pod space, too much speed, and dies too easily. No thanks. Unless fighting Elementals, this thing is crap. I could kill my enemy faster by spitting on him! |

Deeply flawed. I love a swarm of pulse lasers, but the damage is weak considering the range this configuration can fight at (less than 6 hexes) A lot of mechs can overpower this at short range. The SRM's are standard, for some reason, and have a tremendous amount of ammo; very inefficient. 5 small pulse lasers is a terrible waste- dropping them for more medium pulses should be standard. There's no knockout punch, which makes this vulnerable against slower designs, and it's too slow to keep up with anything faster than 5/8. This omni does not have enough pod space to waste on inefficient podding.
On the plus side, it dissipates heat well and is murder on elementals and backbiters. I can see it working in an ambush, but should a Clan front-line assault really have to stoop to such tactics? |

Definitely not for ranged fights, more for getting in close and blazing away until the other guy breaks.
I wish the SRMs were Streaks, but what are you gonna do?
Very nice for city battles.
Im not sure if the DHS can handle the heat output from a couple of alpha strikes, so keep em far between. |

This is one of my favorite Clan mechs and was my personal mech of choice in a recent campain.
Though suffering from heat problems a wise pilot can easily control this mech's heat build up and can crush enemy mechs with ease. |
