Dishonourable opponents? Grand melee called for? You smell a rat on this mission? D is the configuration to go for. You'll get the ability to smash targets with ER PPCs at range and hammer whtever gets close enough with the SRMs. Strong rear weaponry could fend off Elementals or attempted flankers. I would have preferred a few more heat sinks, but this thing is nasty indeed. |

Quite "un-clan" like design but this matters is extremely effective against the IS ! The setup means you will be engaging multiple opponents and back biters, usually smaller IS mechs will get thoroughly pasted but dual Streaks to the rear.
Very practical design that is definitely not for the honor bound clan, but definitely a mouthwatering design for any IS unit. |

Would be a 5 if the rear facing streaks were faceing front.

The problem with this design is its setup so you can engage multiple opponents at once, while your flanked. Either this is a serious sohlama design or the pilot has to be crazy to want multiple opponents trying to kill him. Plus someone can engage you from behind you can't claim you have no weapons in your rear arc. |

I think someone was in love with ER PPCs and Streaks when they came up with this one.
Definitely built to wade into mass combats, grand melees and the like, or maybe a city.
The twin ER PPCs are almost expected on this thing, but the sheer number of Streaks will scare just about anyone. Im not sure that haveing two of them mounted in the aft arc is such a good idea, though. Most mechs prefer to -face- their targets.
This thing would also make a good headhunter mech, as damn few targets can take the ammount of abuse that this thing can potentially dish out. |
