On the good side:
Man! 70 LRM's with Artemis! And the heat sinks to use them!
Armor is enough for a rear echelon machine.
On the bad side:
The XL makes it both expensive and fragile, but thats the price (literally) to pay for all the firepower. The lasers are next to useless because they wouldn't scare away let alone destroy anything. Better take a single ER medium and some 8 points of additional armor. |

The much cheaper but slightly heavier (5 tons more) Viking does the same job almost as well or even better.
If you scrap the 4 useless MGs for 2 Artemis IVs for the LRM-20s. And switch all those small lasers and half ton of useless mg ammo for ER smalls. And viola, a heavier Longbow that is much much tougher and cheaper due to the virtue of better armor and no XL engine.
Sorry this thing sucks. The Comstar/FRR Viking almost does the same thing as well.

If you want an LRM barrage vehicle talk to house Marik and their 200 or so LRM tracked vehicle. Thats what you need. Not this slow decrypted expensive long bow. |

It's too bad they can't do this with a standard engine; still, the XL engine is not so bad here, so long as they stays "in the rear with the gear."
I had to knock a half point off the original score when I noticed the small lasers though. |

If you need a lot of LRMs, get a couple of these. 70 LRMs is going to get someones attention. And if only half of them hit, thats still a damn impressive amount of damage. THis thing is still an ammo addict of the highest order. If this mech gets cut off from an ammo line, its going to die. |
