This expensive XL-monster is believed to be given to the periphery Circinus Federation from the hands of WoB. The only explanation i can think of how such a mech can appear in the periphery BTW.
That they dropped the LB-X for RL's is no real surprise, that the useless CASE was dropped for some armor isn't a surprise either, the upgrade of the medium lasers is a fine move but why the hell did they reduce the amount of single heat-sinks only to get some more RL's???
Now its main weapons are just pointless. Nobody can reduce the single-heat-sinks to 21 and at the same time keep both ER-PPC's without srewing the whole design. |

This has less long-range firepower and worse heat venting than the 3025 Marauder. Firing both PPC's and running (and at 3/5 with mostly short range weapons, you'd better be running), this builds up 11 heat points. Those rocket launchers are going to be even less accurate at high heat. Good weapons loadouts aren't about maximum potential damage; they're about maximum actual damage. Rocket launchers have their place, but a slow 100 ton undergunned mech with single heat sinks is not it. |

Absolutely terrible, poor heat venting and rocket launchers on a 100 tonner..
Whoever designed this ought to be drawn and quartered. Whoever pilots this willingly deserves what's coming..

No. If you can't afford real weapons, then you certainly can't afford ER PPCs and ER medium lasers.
That's also a whole lot of tonnage to tie up in OS weapons. Once they're gone, most any lighter assaults and many heavies will out gun this. A few rocket launchers can be a light and cheap addition to your firepower. This many just gets in the way of real weapons.
And bladewind's already discussed the foolishnes of single heat sinks and double ER PPCs.
If this had standard energy weapons, it would deserve a 2.5 or 3, despite its RLs. |

2 ERPPCs and STANDARD heatsinks ???
sorry that is not a good idea. If they can fork out a MAD II and ERPPCs, 5 to 6 double heatsinks should be waaay withnin reach. |
