Overview:
    Trebuchet IIC debuted shortly before clan Coyote developed omni mechs. Trebuchet statistics
    and a copy of blueprints traveled with SLDF to pentagon worlds, but only few completed mechs
    were carried from the Inner Sphere, because the mech was relatively new. These mechs saw
    some fighting during exodus Civil war and many were destroyed, but at least one lance
    survived and was later mothballed.
    
    
    
    After more than twenty years Cloud Cobra scientists searched through one of the Brian
    Caches, looking for cheap mech with some long range capabilities for their second line
    clusters. They found some partially disassembled Trebuchets from The Civil War and started
    to experiment with them. After two years of work they were satisfied with the result and
    started with limited production that continues even today.
    
    
    
    The fact that the mech is quite easy to construct and maintain made it very interesting to
    clan Blood Spirit that immediately tried to obtain exclusive right to build it. Trials
    weren't as fierce as Spirit Khans expected, so the Trebuchet IIC is now almost exclusively
    Blood Spirit mech, despite the fact that it was invented by clan Cloud Cobra.

Capabilities:
    Trebuchet IIC is another clan mech that surpasses IS capabilities without using large amount
    of precious materials. IIC combines 5N model firepower combined with mobility of 5J on
    chassis that is ten tons lighter than original.
    
    
    
    Thanks to double strength heat sinks the pilot can jump and fire the battery of new lasers
    without fear of overheating the mech and armor built from light composites offers greater
    protection than original mech possessed, with the exception of center torso, that cannot be
    more armored due to structural changes  made during construction. One more ton of LRM
    reloads was added to left torso to increase the longevity of the mech on the field, but even
    than the mech is better suited for trials than for prolonged firefights.

Deployment:
    Clan Cloud Cobra first created the mech in 2849 and continues to produce small amounts of
    Trebuchet IICs for their second line units. They are usually deployed for defense of less
    important holdings. Clan Blood Spirit defended the rights for this mech fiercely and usually
    traded or won in trials those few Trebuchets that left Cloud Cobra. The Spirits own at least
    one binary of Trebuchet IICs and continue with production to keep up with losses. Clan
    Wolf-in-Exile recently completed one star of these cheap mechs for testing. This angered the
    Spirits a lot, but clan WiE is now out of reach for them. WiE hope for easy to make mech
    that may fill the holes in their touman until they'll have something better.
