Overview:
    The production non-command version of the 2XC, this version strips out the more advanced
    capabilities to return to the Warlord?s role as a front-line brawler. Heavy emphasis has
    been put on further removing the need for supplies, with many components either rebuilt to
    need less maintenance or to be accessed and replaced without tools by exploiting the extra
    cockpit space inherited from the battlemaster.

Capabilities:
    The 2E uses the weapons of the 2G, with ten medium lasers and two ER PPCs, on the endo-steel
    frame and standard engine of the 2D. Twin anti-personnel pods are the only new feature,
    added to reflect the growing conventional infantry presence on the field. Although concerns
    were raised about the possibility of laser-reflective armor negating the mech, calculations
    indicated that replacing the medium laser armament with re-engineered designs would actually
    decrease the total damage output against specialist armors.
