Overview:
    An Inner-Sphere refit, the 7-E breaks out of Sea Fox plans to mount the Phoenix Hawk IIC
    with ammo-heavy weaponry. With the ongoing failure of supply lines, the refit will prove
    popular in the Dark Age, especially with the Sea Foxes refusal to cover 7-E repairs and
    parts under warranty circumvented by adding repair files and blueprints with compatible
    parts lists into the laser targeting programs. The innovation of a compact gyro, however,
    has Clan engineers paying attention.

Capabilities:
    In place of the LB-10X and ammo, the 7-E mounts twin large pulse lasers. Accurate and
    high-damage, they fill the gap neatly. The SRMs are dropped for more ER medium lasers, with
    a total of six for a devastating close-range barrage. Twenty heat sinks are not quite
    sufficient to cool the mech, but the armor has been upgraded to maximum to allow time to
    withdraw and shed heat.

Deployment:
    The 7-E is usually deployed as heavy cavalry, filling gaps in the battle-line or creating
    and exploiting them in enemy lines. The high accuracy of the pulse lasers means they can be
    fired on the move, and the high speed and jump jets allows hit and run tactics for the ER
    medium array.
