Overview:
    "Rebuild the Locust?" "You're nuts!" "What have you been smoking?" "Forget it, man"
    SearcyWorks engineers nodded... and smiled... and did it anyways. In doing so, they have
    been vindicated.

Capabilities:
    The Super Locust is every bit as fast as its predecessor, but mounts better armor and
    weaponry. Five tons of SeacyWorks Standard armor protects it from enemy fire, while it
    shoots back with an Advanced Hardlight-3 ER Large Laser and a pair of Advanced Hardlight-2
    ER medium lasers.
    For anyone who comes looking for an easy kill and picks a Super Locust, they are in for a
    nasty shock. Fast, tough, and heavily armed, the Super Locust is an excellent recon/raider,
    hampered only by its lack of hands. It has excellent range, meaning it never has a need to
    close with the enemy. This only makes it tougher to kill. In essence, the Super Locust
    epitomizes the Super-series philosophy of appearing to be a small, weaker BattleMech. Many
    are the MechWarrior who assumed their opponents to be mere Locusts, until the laser beams
    started hitting them at a range far beyond that of any Locust variant they'd ever heard of.
    "walk softly and carry a big stick" has become the unofficial motto of Super Locust pilots.

Deployment:
    The Super Locust is somewhat rare. The majority under Combine control are a part of the
    Ghost Regiments, making it difficult if not impossible to get a fix on their numbers. The
    Pesht Armored Calvary's raider Battalion fields light lances entirely of Super Locusts, and
    they have achieved some popularity in the Lyran Alliance. While we can safely assume that
    somewhere between 75-100 Super Locusts are operational, but we cannot be sure.
