    The King Crab is the signature 'Mech of Alisa Wolfstein's Second-in-Command and heir to
    Arctic Silence, Jarrel Wolfstein. To celebrate his promotion to Commander in Chief of the
    Arctic Silence Armed Forces, this King Crab build was commissioned from Arctic Silence's
    'Mech Factories on Exeter VII. This 'Mech was created in 3138 using the Word of Blake
    KGC-008 design as a base. Few outside of the Federated Suns planet of Exeter VII have ever
    seen this masterpiece of modern science in person. Of those who have faced it in combat, you
    can count those still alive on one hand. As such, information on it is extremely limited.

    From the strands of information our agents have collected, we have managed to piece together
    the design's weapons configuration. Like the KGC-008 it was based on, the KGC-018 has two
    Heavy PPCs as its primary weapons. However, these have been upgraded by the attachment of a
    PPC Capacitor to both weapons, giving this King Crab the ability to produce the same damage
    profile as the original KGC-000, except at twice the range. While this can only occur after
    the weapons are not fired for ten seconds as the capacitors charge, the weapons can still
    strip nearly 2 tons of armour off of a target in one salvo without pre-charging. The build
    also mounts two secondary weapons systems: three Clan-Tech Streak SRM-4s and two Clan-Tech
    Medium Pulse Lasers. These provide ample supportive firepower for when an enemy closes
    within the PPC's minimum range. We believe that a Clan-Tech Targeting Computer and C3 Slave
    are carried in the right torso, which provides the KGC-018 with unparalleled accuracy at all
    ranges. The Targeting Computer can also be used to hit a single location with the Heavy PPCs
    to quickly eliminate weakened targets - the last thing you want to do is to overheat in
    front of this 'Mech, because it will destroy you in one hit. And since the KGC-018 is always
    piloted by Jarrel Wolfstein - one of the best Inner Sphere Mechwarriors of the 32nd Century
    - it is unlikely that any shots will be missed.
    The KGC-018 features the jump jets of the -008 model, allowing it to jump up to 90 metres.
    We believe that a Clan XL Engine was used to save enough weight for the Targeting Computer
    while still allowing the KGC-018 to survive the loss of a side torso. A Compact Gyro has
    been used to allow a Double Heat Sink to be fitted in the Centre Torso alongside a jump jet
    and medium pulse laser. As well as this, we have gathered from various sources that the
    Clan-Tech Endo Composite Structure of the Warbird Battlemech Series has been used in the
    KGC-018 for further weight savings. Based off measuring the heat generated by the Heavy PPCs
    and then recording the speed at which the heat is dissipated, we have calculated that this
    'Mech carries 19 Clan-Tech Double Heat Sinks, of which 12 would be integral to the engine.

    Furthermore, Jarrel deploys with his personal body guard: a C3-networked lance consisting
    entirely of assault Battlemechs, each one custom Arctic Silence designs which have perfect
    cohesion with one another. As such, we advise not attempting to take on the KGC-018 in a
    combat situation - period. If you meet it on the battlefield, negotiating a parley is a good
    idea, since Arctic Silence is (like us) primarily a mercenary force, although it is heavily
    allied with the Federated Suns it only deploys its forces on contracted missions. If you can
    agree to a course of action which benefits both sides, this would be the best outcome. We do
    not need to fight them unless they are the target of our contract - in which case the
    payment of our contract should be weighed up against the possibility of losing most of our
