    Built in the same vain as the Stinger. Using husks of the old Battlemaster, the companies
    new take on the age old design makes use of new and tried and true technology. Capable of
    delivering a lethal barrage at medium range with its Heavy and light PPC's it can up the
    damage with the capacitors that are linked to the new weapons mount. 4 medium lasers and a
    pair of the new 5 tube Multi Missile Launchers, give the mech a long range punch, and a
    surprise in short ranges. a pair of Small Pulse lasers give the mech a deterrant for
    infantry and round out the weapons.

    The new Heavy Particle Projection Cannon with cappacitor replaces the old standard Particle
    cannon. The designers dropped the machine guns and replaced the engine with a lower capacity
    unit to squeeze in a pair of Light Particle cannons each with a capacitor. The short range
    missile system was replaced with a pair of new 5 tube Multy Missile launchers. They now rest
    on each side fo the large cockpit. A ton of long range and short range ammo give the
    launchers far more flexibility than a standard short range pack of eariler models.
    The biggest drawback of the 1001A is its lack of heat dissapation. 13 double strength
    freezers help to keep the mech cool. Though they are insufficent, and pilots are warned to
    watch the heat guage.
