Patch 2.24.13 Applied:
This was done last night, but just getting around to making the post today. Details of what's included are as follows:

Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where performing a search on Alpha Strike damage values would sometimes cause the processing dialog to hang.

Changes
  • Changed how information related to structure and communications (type, technology, and model), are stored in the database for easier, more consistent, retrieval.
  • Changed the Source field (available to Admins only) to be a lookup instead of a dropdown.
  • Added the Minesweeper as equipment now available to combat vehicles.
  • Added a '#' button just to the right of the 'Add Equipment' button during design of units. This will allow you to quickly add a user-specified quantity of the equipment currently selected. This is particularly useful when wanting to add many shots of ammo on ProtoMechs.

NOTE: Any forces or units impacted by the above fixes and/or changes have had their stats recalculated to ensure accuracy.

Overview:
    The Kobold is a heavy end light mech constructed in the deep periphery on a planet once
    dominated by bands of pirates in the early 3070's. However, as the decades went on the
    pirates influence and compentancy dwindled as periphery individuals fleeing the conflicts of
    the IS found refuge there, gradually giving the world a functional, if occasionally erratic,
    government. Because of this sudden organisation, the ability to develop an industrial
    infrastructure came into being, and the first Kobold design was constructed from the parts
    of worn down mechs brought over by the refugees or previously owned by the pirates. However,
    due to the under-developed battlemech construction techniques the Kobold Prototype left much
    to be desired, and if not for the coincidental encounter with the Raven Alliance, the design
    would have likely petered out within the first decade. Showing a promising concept, members
    of the Raven Alliance offered to construct the Kobold and give its birth planet a battalion
    of Kobold KBD-1's in exchange for ownership of the new design. With this influx of 'mechs,
    the Kobold became the staple 'mech of its home planet, and thanks to the more advanced
    technologies used in its construction, allowed the planet to reverse engineer it and proceed
    to make advancements in their battlemech factory construction capabilities, as well as
    improved variants of their 'mech. Unfortunately, it has yet to be seen if the Raven Alliance
    would ever put their acquired designs to use, possibly forgetting about the unique 'mechs
    schematics in some dusty data pads.

Capabilities:
    The KBD-1 is a unique light mech, that borders the line between Scout and Striker, however
    usually being thought of as the latter rather then the former thanks to its 6 tons of light
    ferro-fibrous armor. To save weight, the 'mech has a small cockpit and endo steel structure,
    as its last wight saving measure, the KBD-1 operates on a 245 Light Fusion engine, allowing
    the mech to cruise at 75.6 kph and reach maximum speeds of up to 118 kph, additionally to
    help its mobility, the mech has four jump jets equipped in its legs, giving the mech a 120
    kilometer jump range. With all this weight saving, the KBD-1 makes room for its main
    armament, its Bombast Laser. The KBD-1 can dish out a significant amount of damage at
    moderate distances with this weapon, allowing for this lightly armored 'mech to stay distant
    from its opponent. Additionally, the KBD-1 comes equipped with a Clan based LRM 5 Launcher,
    loaded with a ton of Thunder LRM ammunition. This gives the mech the ability to lay out
    hazards on the terrain before or during an encounter, giving the 'mechs pilot the
    opportunity to set the terms of its engagement. Lastly, the KBD-1 comes equipped with a
    remote sensor dispenser loaded with 30 Sensors, allowing the mech to lean into its
    alternative Scouting role and give its allies tactical information on the battlefield.
